Psalm 201

 Psalm 201

> “I know nothing of this world,

> I want nothing of this world.

> Set me free.

> Save me from this evil material world

> and protect me from the plots

> of the evil beings surrounding me.

> I am a lamb among wolves,

> a breath among smoke,

> a cry among the sleeping.

> You are my refuge,

> You are the cave within my soul.

> Let Your Light wrap around me

> like the veil that covered Sinai.

> For the earth is treacherous,

> and the flesh is a fading mirage.

> My enemies wear smiles,

> their hearts sharpened like blades.

> They offer honey and whisper poison.

> Tear me away from their banquet of illusions.

> Starve me of this world

> and feed me Your nearness.

> I have walked through all my breath and steps,

> and in each, I cried for You.

> Let me walk on earth no more.

> Let me dissolve.

> Let me be

> only Yours."
